Corinne N. Heimer, M.S.

Professional info

 

Corinne Heimer graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz in June 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in community studies followed by post-baccalaureate work in psychology at the University of California, Davis (UC-Davis). At UC-Davis, Corinne was a research assistant in Dr. Phillip Shaver’s Adult Attachment Lab, where she worked with Dr. Shaver on a study examining the relation between adult attachment styles and social support. 

 

Corinne is currently a third-year clinical psychology graduate student at the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium in Palo Alto, CA. As a graduate student, Corinne has worked as a clinical interviewer in the Stanford Mood and Anxiety Lab at Stanford University under Dr. Ian Gotlib. She has also worked as a research assistant with Dr. Marylene Cloitre at the National Center for PTSD on a study investigating clinical interventions for women with complex trauma.

 

Within the Substance and Anxiety Invention Laboratory, Corinne currently conducts diagnostic assessments and leads behavioral sleep interventions for a study investigating the impact of behavioral sleep interventions on veteran cannabis use. Additional duties include assisting in the development and dissemination of research projects.
